Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders across cities in India, effective Saturday, March 1. In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has risen from Rs 1,797 to Rs 1,803, marking a Rs 6 hike. However, the rates for 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders have remained unchanged since August 2024.

This year’s Rs 6 price hike for commercial LPG cylinders is the smallest seen on March 1 in the last five years. In comparison, the price surged by Rs 352 in March 2023. While there was a marginal relief of Rs 7 on the budget day for the 19-kg commercial cylinder, this latest increase erodes that benefit.
