Last month’s LPG price changes
The much-needed relief offered by reduced prices of LPG cylinders comes after the government raised them in March by Rs 6 following a Rs 7 cut in February. The never-ending fluctuations are attributed to the volatility of the international energy market. While the new development will inevitably help out hotels and restaurants, household cooking patterns will maintain their stability especially since domestic LPG prices were not changed in this revision.
“According to Indane, a subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased from Rs 1,797 to Rs 1,803,” the company announced last month on March 1, 2025.
