The Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone has finally been launched in India with prices starting at Rs 17,999 – the phone will be available on Amazon from September 25. The smartphone was a long time in coming as the company had been teasing it on Twitter for quite some time. The special part about the smartphone is that it offers a few features in this price range that are available only on high-end ones.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone is available in two options at different price points. One is the 3GB/32GB variant priced at Rs 17,999 and the other one is 4GB/64GB, which is priced at priced at Rs 19,999. The Lenovo Z2 Plus is a 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone that packs a 5-inch full-HD display, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and also has a fibre glass frame and is backed up by a 3,500mAh battery, which the company says will last through the day (regular usage). It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone also has a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor with gesture support that opens seven different functions. The smartphone also packs the "U-Health" feature (pedometre) that tracks steps taken by the users and also counts calories burnt. -
The Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone packs a 13MP camera at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP camera at the front. It supports 4K capture, 1080p time lapse and also slow motion recording. The Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone will come with a matte black stealth case worth Rs 699. It also offers a premium chrono case accessory with 5 different faces.
