On April 15 in a match against RCB, SRH posted a massive total of 287/3 at Chinnaswamy Stadium. This was the biggest team total in the history of IPL. Abhishek Sharma, the explosive opener of Sunrisers Hyderabad, surpassed RCB’s Virat Kohli in the last league match against Punjab Kings on May 19. Sharma has smashed most sixes by an Indian player in a season of IPL. Previously, Kohli held this record for hitting 38 sixes in 2016 edition of IPL.
