Ivanka Trump who is currently the advisor to US president Donald Trump is his daughter from first wife Ivana Trump. Before becoming advisor to President Trump, Ivanka started her career as a model. She then redirected her career and joined her father's business empire after finishing college. She associated herself with the entertainment industry and worked alongside her father and two brothers as a judge on a reality TV show "Celebrity Apprentice" from 2006 to 2015. She is married to real estate tycoon Jared Kushner and has three children with him. During US presidential elections, Ivanka played a major role in helping her father during electoral campaigns. She actively defended his divisive remarks, despite the controversies he generated virtually on a daily basis. In an interview to Politico she said “As a citizen, I love what he’s doing. Role in Donald Trump's presidential election campaign: Earlier Ivanka supported both the Republican and Democratic Parties at different times. In 2007 she supported Hillary Clinton's presidential run and is a friend of Chelsea Clinton. In 2012 she endorsed Mitt Romney for president. On July 21, 2016, Ivanka introduced her father at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, before he accepted the party's presidential nomination. Early Life: Ivanka Trump was born on October 30, 1981, in Manhattan. She grew up in the limelight alongside her famous parents, Donald Trump and socialite/Czech-American model Ivana Trump. Ivanka went on to study in a boarding school when she was only 10-years-old. This happened after her parent's marriage ended in divorce. She attended the Chapin School and then later transferred to Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut. Ivanka decided to do modelling at age 14 and worked with Elite Model Management and graced her first cover with Seventeen magazine in 1997. She did modelling for Thierry Mugler, Versace, and Marc Bouwer. She also featured in Elle magazine, and co-host the Miss Teen USA 1997 pageant when she was only 16. (Image Source IE)
Entering Family Business: After graduating from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Ivanka decided to join real estate business with her father. But she took experience first and worked for two years at a firm outside of her father's organization. Working as Advisor to President: When Donald Trump was elected as US President, Ivanka, her siblings Donald Jr. and Eric, and husband Jared Kushner, were soon named as members of her father’s presidential transition team. After this Ivanka and Kushner were named White House advisors, and reportedly purchased a home in the Kalorama neighbourhood of Washington, D.C. n March 2017. Ivanka said she would become an unpaid employee of the White House.
Other Projects: Banking on her last name and wanting to be a voice for the professional millennial woman, Ivanka published the New York Times bestseller, The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life in 2009. She has also launched a fashion/lifestyle brand, the Ivanka Trump Collection. Ivanka also featured as a guest-judge on Project Runway Season 3. She also spoke for 30 minutes at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, event in April 2007 called the Creating Wealth Summit.
