Pro Kabaddi Season five is all set for the final ‘panga’ between Gujarat Fortunegiants and Patna Pirates on Saturday. Fans are waiting with bated breath to see if Patna can claim a hat-trick of titles or if Gujarat can crush their hopes by lifting the trophy in their debut season. Pirates had sealed a berth in the final by defeating Bengal Warriors 47-44 in the Qualifier two on Thursday courtesy star raider Pardeep Narwal who score 23 raid points. The Dubki King has been in spectacular form this season. But just like him, there are other attackers who have done well although they could not help their team reach the final. Here top five raiders of PKL 2017 (Twitter/PKL):
1) Pardeep Narwal- The Dubki King of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Pardeep Narwal has been in rock-solid form in the fifth edition. The Patna Pirates captain was born in Rindhana, Sonepat, Haryana, and holds the maximum number of points, in a single season of PKL. The record was previously held by Anup Kumar with 155 points. In the match against Puneri Paltan on Monday in eliminator 2, Narwal led from the front to score a historic 34 points, the most by any raider in Pro Kabaddi League, and also became the first man to reach 300 raid points in Season 5. 2) Rohit Kumar- The Bengaluru Bulls captain Rohit Kumar burst on to the scene in the third edition of the Pro Kabaddi League when he represented the Patna Pirates. With his dazzling pace and thunderous raids, he soon became a nightmare for the Pirates’ opponent teams and a household name across India. He joined Bulls in the fourth season. Although Rohit had a great fifth season by scoring 219 raid points, the talismanic raider could not take his team to the final. (Twitter)

3) Ajay Thakur- The star player of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup final Ajay Thakur finished third on the list with 213 points. The one man army, Thakur had a spectacular season with Tamil Thalaivas but due to lack of support from his team-mates, he could not do take his team further. (Twitter)

4) Maninder Singh- When the Jaipur Pink Panthers won the inaugural edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, there was one player who made quite a few heads turn his way with his consistent exploits on the mat irrespective of the rivals. The man in question is none other than the crafty raider, Maninder Singh! However, post his rampant raids and the title-winning stint with the Panthers, Maninder suddenly disappeared from the kabaddi scene for the subsequent seasons and made a comeback in the bigger and better fifth edition of the tournament. He finished fourth in the top five raiders list with 190 points. (Twitter)
5) Rahul Chaudhari- Started his career as a defender, Rahul Chaudhari proved his worth as a raider in Pro Kabaddi League. Captain of Telugu Titans, Rahul scored 184 points and finished fifth in this years PKL. He represented India in the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. (Twitter)
