'Hotel of Doom'- Ryugyong Hotel, a futuristic pyramid shaped 105-story building which is also the world’s tallest unoccupied building was recently unveiled in North Korea's Pyongyang, 30 years after its construction began. According to reports, its contruction began in 1987, but was halted in 1992, during the country's economic crisis. It was scheduled to open in 2012 but that did not happen, later in 2013, a partial opening was announced which was later cancelled. This magnificent building that makes the most prominent feature of Pyongyang's skyline, still remains unopened as of 2017. (Photo: AP)
