<br>ISC 2015 results declared, City school shines with national toppers:</br> After ISC 2015 results declared today, G D Birla Centre for Education, Kolkata said three of its students were among the national toppers in the ISC examinations. Meghdeepa Sengupta, ranked third in science stream securing 99.25 per cent in the subject. Priyanka Sen securing 99.5 per cent in the Humanities stream was second topper, the school said in a statement. PASS PERCENTAGE – BOYS VS GIRLS: For class X, the pass percentage of girls was 98.95 as against boys which was 98.12 per cent, he said, adding girls have performed better than boys in class XII result also with a pass percentage of 97.49 per cent against boys 95.27 per cent. (PTI)

TOP RANKED STUDENTS CLASS 10TH: The top position in Class X, according to the results, was shared by three students – Sougata Chowdhury from St Xavier's Collegiate School, Kolkata; Ananya Harshad Patwardhan, Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial School, Mumbai; and Tezan Papan Sahu of St Mary's ICSE School, Navi Mumbai. Each of them scored 99.20 per cent marks. The second position was bagged by three students scoring 99 per cent marks and the third place by 11 students securing 98.80 per cent marks. (PTI)

ICSE STATISTICS: A total of 1,58,833 students including over 70,000 girls appeared in the ICSE this year. In class XII, over 38,000 boys and 32,000 girls appeared in the examination this year. The total number of students who had appeared in class XII examination was 71,141. (Express Photo)
