While the Surrey Country Cricket Club retains a majority stake, the deal was estimated at around £60.3 million ($80 million or nearly Rs 645 crore). Mukesh Ambani, also listed among the richest Asians, acquired both the men’s and women’s teams, expanding his ‘MI Family’ after their decades-long feat in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
