Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced an Apple Inc iOS version of the app Blue Sense in its popular XUV 500 – it has also been introduced across Android and Windows platform for the new generation Scorpio. The Blue Sense is the first ever vehicle smart app that have been developed by Mahindra & Mahindra.

The Blue Sense technology enables one to control the infotainment system as well as other functions of the vehicle such as climate control, getting important vehicle information such as fuel statistics, tyre pressure, and much more directly with the help of the app through Bluetooth. The smart app also allows one to get warning and alerts on the smartphone such as door ajar notification, distance-to-empty details and service reminders, etc.

A stylish hawk wing shaped headlight cluster, halogen projector headlamps, turn indicator, LED daytime running lights, revised bumper and radiator grille are some of the cosmetic changes. While inside, the Scorpio gets new features like fresh dual tone upholstery, touchscreen infotainment system, rear view camera display, navigation system to name a few. The SUV is in competition with the likes of Nissan Terrano, Renault Duster and Tata Safari Storme in the ever lucrative SUV segment.

The next generation Scorpio, Mahindra’s most successful SUV also gets the Blue Sense smart app in addition to already long list of technologically advanced features. The next-gen SUV which was launched last year is built on a lightweight ladder chassis alongside featuring brand new exteriors and interior design.

The XUV 500, which was recently launched in a limited edition series on the top-end variant W8 comes packed with several advance features such as electric sunroof, reverse camera, voice messaging system while exterior changes include stylish alloy wheels, aluminium pedals and illuminated scuff plates. The limited edition also gets 6 way power adjustable driver’s seat and anti-pinch driver window. With the introduction of the Blue Sense app, the vehicle is now a complete hi-tech package making itself an envied one in its segment. The sporty XUV 500 currently locks horns with Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Force One and Tata Safari Storme in the segment.

Mahindra & Mahindra says owing to a massive positive response from XUV customers with approximately 24,000 downloads for the Blue Sense smart app, company made this app compatible with Apple devices. The app can be easily downloaded from the Apple App Store by the existing Mahindra XUV 500 customers.
