Rains engulfed various parts of North India yesterday, May 17. Pouring rains and gushing winds caused large-scale infrastructural damage to life and property. In the peak of summer, these sudden climate fluctuations concern climatologists and could be a potential cause of concern. Not just in the northern regions, but Tamil Nadu and West Bengal witnessed heavy showers too. As monsoons sets off in Maharashtra, Delhi NCR and other regions are amid extreme heat with temperatures rallying above 40 degrees.
