Wildfires wreak havoc in Los Angeles, displacing more than 30,000 residents as flames engulf upscale areas. The Palisades fire has burned 2,921 acres between Santa Monica and Malibu, fueled by dry weather and strong winds. Several people have been injured and a firefighter has suffered a head injury, as reported by Reuters.
The Eaton Fire near Pasadena has quickly spread to 400 acres, forcing the evacuation of a nursing home. Senior citizens were seen in wheelchairs in the smoky parking areas. Meanwhile, the Hurst Fire in Sylmar has resulted in more evacuations, escalating the crisis across the region. Emergency teams are currently battling the flames. As per witnesses, a number of homes on fire with flames were torching their cars when people fled the hills of Topanga Canyon. -
