Donald Trump has made a historic political comeback, reclaiming the presidency in a stunning victory over Vice President Kamala Harris. This marks his return to the White House four years after losing to Joe Biden. With this win, Trump becomes only the second president in US history to secure a nonconsecutive term. He surpassed the crucial 270 electoral votes, with projected wins in key battleground states, including Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Trump’s victory is all the more remarkable given the tumultuous events of the past year. In addition to being convicted of a felony, he survived two assassination attempts. One of the most shocking incidents occurred in July, when he was shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. -
