HTC, the Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets, has launched a new budget smartphone in the Desire series. Display: HTC Desire 620G Dual-SIM holds a 5-inch HD LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with a pixel density of 294ppi. Coupled with Ambient light, Proximity and Motion G sensors with dual speakers placed in front for better sound quality. With dimensions of 150.1mm x 72.7mm x 9.6mm, Desire 620G weighs in at 145 grams, including the weight of the battery.

Processor and Platform: An octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, clocking at a speed of 1.7GHz, energizes Desire 620G. It has 1GB RAM and provides an in-built storage of 8GB, however using the microSD card, user can increase the external memory up to 32GB. The smartphone runs on Android KitKat 4.4.4 operating system with HTC Sense 6 UI and HTC Blinkfeed on top.

Multimedia: HTC Desire 620G has an 8MP auto focus rear camera with BSI sensor. It is supported with an LED flash, 1080p video recording and HTC Eye experience. On the other hand, to maintain the craze of selfies, the company has provided a 5MP front facing camera with BSI sensor in Desire 620G. The secondary camera is capable of recording 1080p videos. Connectivity and Battery: In terms of connectivity, Desire 620G supports options such as 3.5mm stereo audio jack, Bluetooth 4.0 (aptX enabled), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz), microUSB 2.0 port, 2G/3G and GPS. A removable 2,100mAh battery keeps the device going by providing up to 19.2 hours of talktime (3G) and up to 525 hours of standby time.
