Dilwale box office collections vs Bajirao Mastani: On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale was released alongside Bajirao Mastani that has a cast consisting of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. While the clash between the two films was a much talked about topic, both did all right at the box office, but nothing exceptional, simply because they cut into each other's earnings. While Dilwale box office collections on day 1 were logged at Rs 21 crore, Bajirao Mastani collections managed about half of that at Rs 12.80 crore – both in terms of India collections. After days 2 and 3 takes are added up, Dilwale had Rs 65.09 crore in the bag in domestic market and Rs 89.11 crore overall. Bajirao Mastani take was way lesser at Rs 46.77 crore India total and an overall tally of Rs 61.17 crore – that is the opening weekend score. SRK is ahead by a mile and likely to take that huge lead into the week. (Bollywood Hungama)
