January transfer season: The transfer season is always full of surprises and this season was no different. With the window now shut and on what was a busy last day, Arsenal completed their £56million move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a long-term deal. It paved the way for Olivier Giroud's move to Chelsea and Michy Batshuayi's to Borussia Dortmund. A big deal didn't go through was Riyad Mahrez's move to Manchester City after Leicester set their asking price too high. But elsewhere, Tottenham brought in Lucas Moura while Newcastle finally strengthened in attack with the capture of Islam Slimani from Leicester.
