How can an aeroplane be parked on a national highway and that too serving fancy meals inside it? Well, Runway 1 – is the name of a restaurant which was opened inside a plane. It’s the innovation that hits you first as there is no flashy sign. The Airbus A320 parked just off the National Highway-1 on Ambala-Kurukshetra stretch which was turned into a restaurant. After Hawai Adda, which is located in Ludhiana's Verka milk plant, Runway 1 is the second restaurant in India, where a plane has been turned into a eatery. The grounded aircraft was parked on a vacant one and a half acre plot owned by a Shahbad based business family. Let us take a look at inside images of the multi-cuisine restaurant:
