The renewable energy sector company, Waaree Energies is shining bright on Dalal Street ahead of its Q4FY25 earnings. The share price of Waaree Energies jumped over 6% intraday, hitting a high of Rs 2,629. Further rally in the share price ahead of the company is set to release its Q4FY25 result today.

But it is not just earnings anticipation driving the rally. There are also several recent business wins and global developments that are also fuelling optimism. Let’s take a look at the key factor behind the stock rally –

Q4 earnings buzz lifts sentiment

Waaree Energies will announce its Q4FY25 results today, and expectations are high in the street. In the previous quarter (Q3FY25), the company had reported a massive surge in profit of Rs 5,068 crore, up from Rs 1,408 crore a year ago, with revenue also more than doubling.

Fresh orders and expansion

In recent months, Waaree Energies has been busy locking in major orders and expanding its capacity. In March 2025, it inaugurated a massive 5.4 GW solar cell facility in Chikhli, Gujarat. It has also secured multiple orders for solar module supply, including a one-time domestic order for 362.5 MWp in February, and a 180 MWp order from a renewable energy firm in January

Stock performance and valuation check

This renewable energy stock has had a volatile ride in recent months. Over the last five days, the stock has surged 18%, and is up 7% in the past month. On a six-month and one-year basis, the stock has delivered 11% returns. However, in 2025 so far, the stock is down 9%, making the current rally even more interesting.

The company’s 52-week high stands at Rs 3,743 while the low is Rs 1,863. Its current market cap is around Rs 74,730 crore.

Global tailwinds

Another factor drawing attention is global development. The US has imposed anti-dumping duties on solar equipment imported from Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Thailand. These duties are high and are expected to shift the demand towards manufacturers outside the affected regions. Waaree Energies, which has a presence in the US and operates a 1.6 GW facility in Texas, could benefit from this shift.
