Jet, India's second largest carrier by market share, said net profit in the October-December period rose to 4.67 billion rupees ($68.88 million) from 631.1 million rupees a year earlier, marking a record high quarterly profit. (Reuters)

Shares of Jet Airways (India) rose almost 12 per cent, as it headed towards biggest single day percentage gain since June 16.

Jet Airways stocks gained on relative valuation and fuel cut hopes.

At 12:59 pm, Jet Airways (India) shares gained 11.50 per cent to Rs 366.50 on BSE. On NSE, stocks rose 11.72 per cent to Rs 367.60.
