Bharat Electronics: Dividend confirmed, payment date set

Bharat Electronics has officially confirmed that its final dividend of 90%, that is, Rs 0.90 per equity share of Rs 1 face value will be credited to eligible investors on September 23.

The dividend was declared during the company’s 71st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on August 28, where nearly all shareholders voted in favour of the payout. The company had set August 14 as the record date to determine which shareholders were eligible for the dividend.

Bharat Electronics, in its filing to the exchanges, noted, “We wish to inform you that Final Dividend of Re 0.90/- (90%) per equity share of Re 1 each declared at the 71st Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 28.08.2025 will be paid on 23.09.2025 to the eligible shareholders.”

Bharat Electronics: Q1 performance recap

Bharat Electronics revenue from operations in the first quarter of FY26 stood at Rs 4,416.83 crore. This marks a 5.2% year-on-year rise. Profit Before Tax climbed 24% to Rs 1,289.24 crore, while Profit After Tax rose nearly 25% to Rs 969.13 crore.

In the past six months, Bharat Electronics share price has rallied around 42%, while over the last year, it has delivered a healthy 35% return. In 2025 alone, the stock has already given investors a gain of about 31%.

The market capitalisation of the company as of now stands at Rs 2.82 lakh crore. The stock currently trades close to its 52-week high of Rs 436, well above its low of Rs 240.25.
