Samsung’s next Tizen-based smartphone Z2 is finally expected to launch on Tuesday. Samsung has been sending media invites for an event which they have scheduled for Tuesday where it is expected to unveil the rumoured Samsung Z2 Tizen-powered smartphone. The Z2 smartphone which is expected to be a low budget device would be the third handset from the technology giants in India which has a Tizen OS. The previous ones were Z1 and Z3. While the Z1 was launched in January 2015 and in October it launched the Z3. A promotional video which leaked last week suggested a few features of the smartphone.
Based on speculations, the phone will have a 4.5-inch screen and 1GB of RAM along with textured rear panels. It is expected that the phone will support dual SIM but the interesting feature is that it might be the first Tizen phone to support 4G LTE in India. It is anticipated that the phone will have a 2000 mAh battery to fuel the quad-core 1.5GHz CPU. It is expected to have the Ultra Data Saving Mode which is seen in most of the recent smartphones by Samsung. Apart from the pre-installed apps like WhatsApp and Telegram, Z2 will have the My Money Transfer feature which is exclusive to the Tizen smartphones for the Indian market. The phone is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 5,000 to Rs 9,000.
