Reliance’s LYF Flame 8 and LYF Wind 3 on Wednesday, August 10, became available for sales on Flipkart. The two models which were on the list of “coming soon” for a few days now have been made available for sales for Rs 4,199 and Rs 6,999 respectively. The LYF Flame 8 comes in three colours; White, Black and Blue. the LYF Flame 3 though, comes only in Black.
The LYF Flame 8 comes with a 4.5-inch display with FWVGA having 854 x 480 pixels of resolution. It runs on a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, combined with an Adreno 304 GPU. The Phone has an internal storage capacity of up to 8GB and consists of 1GB RAM. The memory can be expanded from 8GB to 128GB through the use of a microSD card. Andriod 5.1 Lollipop is the Operating system this phone works on and is supported by a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is said to work up to 160 hours of standby time on a 2G network. The LYF Flame 8 has an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with added LED flash. The front camera is of 5-megapixel. The phone offers a Dual Sim slot, Wi-fFi, Bluetooth $.0 and one micro USB port.
Meanwhile, the LYF Wind 3 boasts of a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone runs on 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. The Wind 3 betters the LYf 8 y doubling the RAM and the internal storage memory. The expandable memory though is only 32 GB with a microSD card slot. It runs on the same Android 5.1 Lollipop as the LYF 8 and has a 2920 mAh Polymer battery offering up to 370 hours of standby time on 2G network. The model has an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with a LED flash and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. The smartphone also offers DUAL SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS along with a micro USB port.
