With new leaked images of two upcoming phones, Nokia appears to be making a comeback in the smartphone market. It has been long since Nokia phones have made a big mark in the tech world, nevertheless, the phones are always highly anticipated. Recent leaks and reports by Gizmochina show that the body of the smartphones are made of polycarbonate shells on the phones and similar design to the Nokia N1 tablet which released last year, though not as big. The flagship phones by Nokia will be manufactured by HMD Global which has a 10 year contract with the brand. The leaked images also showed Nokia Lumia 650 XL devices which got cancelled. They bigger varient of the Lumia 650, had the Microsoft logo. Powered by a Snapgadron 820 SoC the phone will have 5.2 inch and 5.5 inch OLED displays with QHD resolution.
The phone will also have Nokia’Z-launcher running on Android Nougat. According to reports, one of the new models will also run the new Snapgadron 821 SoC. Android N might bring out its final version late in this year, after whish Nexus devices may be launched. Nokia’s new phones can be expected after that. Other specifications of the phone may include a 22.6 megapixel rear camera which has a IP68 certification. The phones can reportedly be priced at 3,000 Yuan or Rs. 30,000. Nokia has been doing extensive research on a new material called graphene and if they use it for their fingerprint sensors, they might be the most sensitive ever.
