Lenovo unveils ThinkPad P50, P70 workstation laptops with Intel’s mobile Xeon processors; price starts $1,599

Lenovo has introduced a new ThinkPad P50 and ThinkPad P70 workstation laptops. According to the Engadget, the laptops pack color-accurate 4K displays and pro NVIDIA Quadro graphics with Intel’s first-ever mobile Xeon processors, the E3-1500M.

Lenovo has introduced a new ThinkPad P50 and ThinkPad P70 workstation laptops – the P50 price starts at $1,599 with a 1080p display, while the P70 will cost $1,999 and up..

According to the Engadget, the laptops pack color-accurate 4K displays and pro NVIDIA Quadro graphics with Intel’s first-ever mobile Xeon processors, the E3-1500M.

Also, the CPU upgrade brings benefits normally limited to desktops, including support for 64GB of memory and Thunderbolt 3 ports that can handle dual 4K displays.

The P50 comes with a 15.6-inch display, a 5.6-pound body and a single Thunderbolt 3 port that complements the three storage bays and plenty of input.

The P70 is Lenovo’s first 17-inch mobile workstation which has a 7.6-pound body and has four storage bays and a second Thunderbolt port.

Lenovo will launch these ThinkPad in the fourth quarter of the year.

The users will not have to pay a premium if they can do without things like 4K displays.
