Coolpad Note 3 smartphone priced at Rs 8,999; flash sale on Amazon.in sells 20,000 handsets

On Amazon.in, Coolpad Note 3 smartphone priced at Rs 8,999, which went on another flash sale, received a positive response again with 20,000 units being sold today.

In a press note shared by the company, the first sale resulted in the sale of 15,000 units of Coolpad Note 3 in less than 5 minutes on October 20, with maximum phones being purchased by Delhiites followed by consumers in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Coolpad Note 3 was launched earlier this month at a price of Rs 8,999. The smartphone has received good response due to its finger print sensor. The phone supports 360 degrees finger rotation capability and offers a 5.5 inch HD screen, 3GB RAM, and 16GB in build storage.

Commenting on the success, Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, “Today’s flash sale has generated a lot of enthusiasm for Coolpad India across the country, the response for Note 3 is bigger than the last time, where 15,000 units were sold in less than 5 minutes. Coolpad Note 3 smartphone offers a 5.5 inch HD screen, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of in-built storage.  The smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G and GSM network frequencies along with a dual-SIM slot.  It features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and auto focus alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the front and rear-facing cameras feature CMOS image sensor for better image quality and powered by a 3,000mAh battery.  Some features have been exclusively bundled for the Indian market and consumers.
