Xiaomi took the full wraps off the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G World Champions Edition today announcing the price and sale date of the limited-edition AFA (short for Argentina Football Association) collaboration. We finally get to see what it looks like, too, as well as the full box contents. Interestingly, it appears that Xiaomi is not charging more for this collector’s edition model. The phone comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and costs the same as the phone’s black, purple, and white variants, aka Rs 35,999.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G World Champions Edition launch marks the 10-year anniversary of Xiaomi in India and was first teased in January at the Redmi Note 13 series debut in the country. So you can say that it has been a long time coming.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G World Champions Edition with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 35,999 in India. It will go on sale starting from May 15. The phone will be available across Xiaomi online and retail, Flipkart and Amazon.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G World Champions Edition is inspired by the AFA jersey and features their blue and white stripes and the symbolic number 10, as well as their iconic three shining stars representing their victories, Xiaomi said in a press release. Inside the phone, the user interface (UI) features customised lock screen, wallpapers and icons.
The unit comes inside a collectible gift box, also inspired by the spirit of AFA, with a fully customised AFA edition 120W HyperCharger, colour co-ordinated USB Type-C cable and a football-inspired sim ejector pin. You also get a card that honours “the esteemed players who have achieved victory on the global stage during the 2022 World Cup.”

The chassis of the phone is IP68 rated. You get a trio of sensors on the back of this phone with a 200-megapixel (HP3) main sensor behind an optically stabilised lens.
