Vivo is all set to launch its V29 series smartphones in India on October 4, 2023. The company is expected to launch two smartphones in the series: the Vivo V29 and the Vivo V29 Pro. The launch date was indirectly revealed by the company on its V29 series’ microsite which shows a message: “Stay tuned till we Meet on October 4.”
Vivo has also shared few design and specs-related details on the website. According to these details, the phones will feature a sleek and stylish design with ultra slim 3D curved display. It will measure 0.746 in thickness and weigh 186 grams. The phones will also come with a new Aura Light feature that creates a glowing effect around the rear camera module.
The Vivo V29 series will come in Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red and Space Black colour shades. The V29 Pro will have a 2x pro portrait camera that is combined with Sony IMX663 Sensor.
Going by the rumours and leaks, we expect the Vivo V29 to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The Vivo V29 Pro, on the other hand, is rumoured to have a slightly larger 6.88-inch AMOLED display with the same features.

The Vivo V29 series is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The Vivo V29 series is said to come with a triple-camera setup on the back. The main camera is rumoured to be a 50MP sensor with OIS and EIS. The other two cameras are expected to be an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is expected to be a 50MP sensor with autofocus.
The Vivo V29 is expected to come with a 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Vivo V29 Pro, on the other hand, is rumored to have a slightly larger 4700mAh battery with the same fast charging support.
The Vivo V29 series is expected to run on Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 on top. The Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro are expected to be priced in the mid-range segment in India but the exact pricing and availability will be known only at the launch date.
