Nothing’s new Phone 2a blue colour edition is available for buying in India from today, per schedule. The blue variant joins the existing black and white, offering a third option for buyers to choose from. However, Nothing notes that this edition will be “limited” though how limited, remains to be seen.

The sale date of the Nothing Phone 2a blue edition is coinciding with Flipkart’s Big Saving Days sale 2024. Nothing will host a “live sale” for the Phone 2a blue colour on Flipkart at 12 noon with seemingly “exciting giveaways.”

Nothing will sell the Phone 2a blue colour at a “special launch day price” of Rs 19,999 on May 2, down from the original price of Rs 23,999 (8GB/128GB). The net effective price is inclusive of a Rs 2,000 SBI offer and a Rs 2,000 bumped-up exchange value.

The Phone 2a has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can peak 1300 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the Phone 2a is a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 ‘pro’ chip and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone supports 45W fast charging. It comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB memory configurations.
Running the show is Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14. Nothing is committing to three years of major OS and four years of security updates. For photography, the Phone 2a has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50MP wide (f/1.8, OIS) and another 50MP ultrawide (without autofocus).
