As anticipation builds for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25, new details are showing up for the flagship device. Expected to make its debut in early 2025, the Galaxy S25 lineup – including the standard, Plus, and Ultra models – is already in production, with key components making their way to the assembly line. A recent live image leak, shared by the well-known leaker Ice Universe, offers an intriguing glimpse at the phone’s display assembly, confirming some of the design features that users can expect.
The leaked photo showcases the front of the Galaxy S25, revealing thinner bezels that contribute to a sleeker and more modern appearance. This design choice aligns with current trends in smartphone aesthetics, where minimising bezels is a priority for many manufacturers. Additionally, the image suggests that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature slightly rounded corners, enhancing its overall look.
Reports indicate that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a 6.9-inch display. Notably, the Ultra is expected to boast bezels that are 0.2 mm thinner than those found on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
While the hardware specifications remain a topic of speculation, there are indications that the Galaxy S25 lineup will primarily utilise Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, particularly in the Ultra model. Historically, Samsung has equipped its standard and Plus variants with Exynos processors, but recent reports suggest potential delays in the Exynos 2500, leading to the possibility that the entire Galaxy S25 series may be powered by Qualcomm’s latest offering.
This shift could mark a significant change in Samsung’s strategy, especially for markets where Exynos chips have been standard. The decision to rely on Qualcomm across the board could help ensure a more uniform performance experience for users, particularly as Samsung seeks to enhance the overall capabilities of its flagship devices.
