The Galaxy Ring, Samsung’s maiden smart ring, is available in India starting today at a starting price of Rs 38,999. The device was first announced at unpacked 2024 in July, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
The Galaxy Ring blends luxurious design with advanced health-tracking technology. Samsung in fact is calling it a “massive leap” in democratising cutting-edge technology for everyone. To be clear, the Galaxy Ring isn’t designed to replace smartwatches like the Galaxy Watch 7, instead, it’s a companion device to elevate health tracking experiences inside a new—but familiar to many—form factor.
Samsung Galaxy Ring price in India, availability details
Priced at Rs 38,999, the Galaxy Ring is available on Samsung.com, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail outlets. Samsung is offering EMI options starting at Rs 1,625/month and financing through Samsung Finance Plus and Bajaj Finance. Buyers who make a purchase before October 18 will also receive a free 25W travel adapter.
A sizing kit is available to help users find their perfect size from nine options (ranging from size 5 to 13). In India, customers can choose from three colours—Titanium Black, Silver, and Gold.
Samsung Galaxy Ring: what’s in it for you
The Galaxy Ring is built from grade 5 Titanium, giving it a premium look while keeping it lightweight at just 2.3 grams. With IP68 dust and water resistance and 10ATM rating, it can survive depths of up to 100 metres—perfect for swimming, workouts, or outdoor adventures.
At the core of the Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s Health AI, designed to provide personalised health insights and recommendations. Key metrics include: energy levels, heart rate with alerts for any abnormalities, sleep stages and patterns with snoring analysis, stress levels and activity tracking, skin temperature trancing for menstrual health management and more.
The Galaxy Ring is rated for up to seven days of usage on single charge. It integrates seamlessly with other Galaxy devices so you can for instance locate it through a connected Galaxy smartphone or conversely, control several smartphone features like taking photos through gestures on the ring.
