Samsung today launched the budget-centric Galaxy F16 5G smartphone in India. The Galaxy F16 is a rebadged Galaxy M16, the only difference is the choice of colours and sales channel. Like the M16, the key USP of the Galaxy F16 5G is extended software support. Samsung is committing to six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates, which is best-in-class. The F16 price in India starts at Rs 12,499. While the M16 is exclusive to Amazon, the Galaxy F16 5G will be available both online and offline.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy F16 5G in a choice of 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,499, the 6GB at Rs 13,999, and the 8GB at Rs 15,499. As an introductory offer, Samsung is giving Rs 1,000 bank cashback.
The Galaxy F16 5G is available on Flipkart, Samsung.com and across select retail stores.
The F16 5G comes in three colours: Vibing Blue, Glam Green and Bling Black.

The Galaxy F16 5G has a 6.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The F16 is guaranteed to get six years of software updates, both major OS and security. Running the show is Android 15-based One UI 7.
The Galaxy F16 5G has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel wide, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and another 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is a 13MP.
