Key features of the Rs 355 Jio Freedom plan
The Rs 355 plan provides a full 30 days of service, resembling postpaid convenience without being identical to Jio’s Rs 319 calendar-month validity plan. Subscribers receive 25GB of high-speed data. While technically unlimited, once the 25GB threshold is reached, the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) reduces the speed to 64kbps. This lump sum data allocation means users won’t benefit from any 5G perks included in other plans.
In addition to data, the Rs 355 plan offers unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day, ensuring comprehensive communication benefits for users.

For those seeking an alternative with a slightly different structure, Jio’s Rs 319 prepaid plan offers a unique “calendar-month validity.” This plan is distinct in that it covers from the recharge date (D) to the day before the same date in the following month (D-1). For example, a recharge on March 5th remains valid until April 4th, with the next recharge due on April 5th. This model ensures uninterrupted service aligning with users’ billing cycles.
The Rs 319 plan includes 1.5GB of daily data, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Historically, this plan cost Rs 259, showing a price increase of Rs 60 over time.
