In the digital age, we are slowly moving from artificial intelligence (AI) to robotics.  Amidst the evolution, Addverb, an industrial robotics and warehouse automation company, announced its entry into the humanoid robot sector. Today the company has announced its entry into the humanoid robotics field, with the launch scheduled for 2025.

Addverb introduced India’s first quadruped, “Trakr,” an AI-powered robot. The humanoid robot is made to automate and navigate tasks. It can also take care of security and manage things, among others. Let’s have a look at what more the upcoming robot can do.

Meet ‘Trakr’

So, Trkr is a humanoid robot with an advanced AI agent. The robot is capable of processing vast volumes of multi-modal data. These data could be in any form such as in vision, audio, and touch inputs. The company also claims that Trkr uses dynamic, self-learning algorithms which helps it navigate a complicated workforce.

Trakr is implemented with dual-arm capabilities, GPU technology, and energy-efficient actuators. These features can help the robot to execute complex tasks which requirs bipedal mobility across multiple terrains. It will also have inbuilt visual and Language Action (VLA) technology, enabling full autonomy in dynamic settings.

In addition to this, the humanoid robot can also adapt to evolving environments, the company said during the announcement. It can also perform tasks such as quality inspection, sorting, parcel handling, assembly and disaster relief.

The future roadmap

The robotics company also said that it will work closely with Reliance to develop the humanoid robot. The partnership will help to use the synergy of the Jio AI Platform and 5G services. Also they plan to deploy the robot extensively across the group’s businesses for different  use cases.

The launch of the humanoid robot comes to align  the company with India’s “Make in India, Make for the World” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” visions. Notably, launched in 2016, Addverb aims to provide smart end-to-end robots for industrial and warehouse automation. Furthermore, “ This project focuses on integrated processing and decision-making capabilities, enabling the humanoid to perform complex tasks with human-like dexterity and strength,” Sangeet Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO of Addverb, concluded.
