Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Pad 2 in India, targeting users seeking an affordable tablet experience. It features an 11-inch 2.5K screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and packs a large 9,000mAh battery. Under the hood, it runs on a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM for efficient multitasking.

Redmi Pad 2 price:

The Redmi Pad 2 will go on sale in India starting June 24. Pricing begins at Rs 13,999 for the base variant featuring 4GB RAM and 128GB storage with Wi-Fi connectivity. If you’re looking for 4G support, the 6GB + 128GB model is available at Rs 15,999. The top-tier version, offering 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with 4G capability, is priced at Rs 17,999.

The Redmi Pad 2 has an 11-inch 2.5K (2,560×1,600 pixels) 10-bit display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits of brightness level, Triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection. It features a quad speaker system with Dolby Atmos support. The tablet supports a smart pen as well. It also comes with features like Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini AI.

The Redmi Pad 2 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor and operates on HyperOS 2.0, which is built on Android 15. It houses a massive 9,000mAh battery, though it supports just 18W wired charging for refueling. For everyday tasks like video conferencing and scanning documents, the tablet offers an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies and calls.
