Redmi K70 series has officially been launched in China. We’ve covered the Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70 at length, and in this report, we’ll dive deeper into the most affordable smartphone of the lot, the Redmi K70E. The K70E is essentially a Redmi K70 Lite in spirit and speculation is rife that it may launch internationally as the Poco X6 Pro. For now, it remains a China-only affair much like the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro models.
Redmi K70E full specs, top features
The Redmi K70E has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel tops out at 1,800 nits (the K70 and K70 Pro can pull 4,000 nits) and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback.
Powering the K70E is Mediatek’s Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. Running the show is Xiaomi’s HyperOS software based on Android 14. The phone comes with a 5,500mAh battery (500mAh bigger than the K70 and K70 Pro) but charging tops out at 90W.
For photography, the Redmi K70E comes with a trio of sensors on the back headlined by a 64-megapixel main, paired to an 8-megapixel ultrawide and another 2-megapixel macro. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter, same as the K70 and K70 Pro.

The Redmi K70E comes in a choice of 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB for CNY1,199 (roughly Rs 23,500), CNY2,199 (roughly Rs 26,000), and CNY2,599 (roughly Rs 31,000).
The Redmi K70E is exclusive to China at the time of writing.
