The Realme GT 6 isn’t the only upcoming GT phone, Realme is also prepping the Realme GT 7 Pro.

Realme’s next phone in India will be another GT series phone called the Realme GT 6. It isn’t immediately clear if it will be positioned above or below the Realme GT 6T, which was recently launched in the country. However, Realme is marketing it as an “AI flagship killer” while the Realme GT 6T was just a “flagship killer.” Make of it what you will, but looks like Realme is finally ending the drought of GT phones this year after a near 2-year-long hiatus. The Realme GT 6 isn’t the only upcoming GT phone, Realme is also prepping the Realme GT 7 Pro.

The Realme GT 6 India launch date isn’t out yet but now that Realme has confirmed and started teasing the product, more details are expected to follow sooner rather than later. As for probable specs, rumour has it that the Realme GT 6 will in fact be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6 from China. Given its primary hardware and Realme’s push for AI smarts, it’s possible. The Realme GT Neo 6 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 at the helm. The same processor powers the Poco F6 in India. The upcoming Xiaomi 14 Civi is also expected to be powered by the same chip.

Should the Realme GT 6 be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6, we can expect it to come with a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness, 5,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging, 50-megapixel primary camera, and Android 14 based Realme UI 5.0.

The Realme GT 6T launched recently in India comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6000 nits. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor, it offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone boasts a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP wide-angle lens. It has a 5500mAh battery with 120W fast charging, an IP68 rating, and promises four years of security updates and three years of OS updates.

The Realme GT 6T comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB for Rs 30,999, Rs 32,999, Rs 35,999 and Rs 39,999 respectively.
