Realme today announced that its upcoming Realme 13 series 5G will target mobile gamers. The series is likely to boot two models, a Realme 13 and Realme 13 Plus. Specifically for the Realme 13 Plus, the brand has confirmed, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and support 90FPS gaming in popular games including Battlegrounds Mobile India, Free Fire, Call of Duty and more.
Realme promises to deliver high-performance gaming at a more affordable price point with its Realme 13 series 5G phones, set to launch in India on August 29, 2024.
Realme 13 series 5G: Realme 13 Plus hardware
One of the most notable features of the Realme 13 Plus 5G is its support for 90FPS gaming, which is typically reserved for higher-end devices. Realme’s decision to bring this level of performance to a mid-range phone is a strategic move, likely aimed at attracting serious gamers who are looking for high-quality gameplay without breaking the bank. The 90FPS capability is expected to enhance the gaming experience in popular titles like BGMI, Free Fire, MLBB, and COD, offering smoother and more immersive gameplay.
The heart of the Realme 13 Plus 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Chip, built on advanced 4nm process technology. This chipset is engineered for both power and efficiency, boasting a 30 percent improvement in energy efficiency over previous models. This means gamers can enjoy extended play sessions with less worry about battery drain or overheating. Realme complements it with “up to 26GB of Dynamic RAM.”
The brand seems to have gone beyond just raw performance, focusing on the overall gaming experience. The Realme 13 Plus 5G features a 6050mm² vapour cooling area—37 percent larger than previous models—designed to keep the device cool during intense gaming sessions.

Further solidifying its gaming credentials, the Realme 13 Plus 5G has received the world’s first “TÜV SÜD lag-free mobile gaming certificate,” earning an S-level rating. For the first time in its Number series, Realme has introduced GT Gaming features in the Realme 13 Plus 5G. These features include Geek Power Tuning, Quick Startup, Dedicated Gaming Memory, Game Filters, Voice Changer, and Game Focus Mode.
