Realme has launched the P4 and P4 Pro 5G. These are two new smartphones in the P series of the company. The devices come with some headline-worthy specifications like a 7,000mAh battery. Moreover Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor is also sweetening the deal.
Both of the devices are available on e-commerce platform Flipkart and the company’s online store. These devices are competing in the mid-range category, one of the toughest markets for devices. The P4 Pro is priced at Rs. 28,999 for the 12GB and 256GB variant. Meanwhile the P4 5G is under Rs. 20,000 price bracket. The P4 Pro 5G is available in three colours; Birch Wood, Oak Wood and Midnight Ivy. Here’s everything you need to know about the Realme P4 Pro 5G.
Display
The Realme P4 Pro 5G comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen that’s curved on all sides. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+, which means smoother scrolling and better experience when watching videos. Peak brightness hits 6500 nits, so it’s easy to use outdoors. While it doesn’t support Dolby Vision, the display still delivers sharp visuals and vibrant colors. Realme also includes a custom chip that boosts frame rates in games and adjusts colors based on what you’re watching.
Battery
One of the standout features is its 7000mAh battery—much larger than what most phones offer. Despite the big battery, the phone stays slim and light. One can expect two full days of regular use, and even with heavy gaming or video streaming, it holds up well. Charging is fast too: 80W wired charging, 33W USB-PD, and even 10W reverse charging if you want to charge another device.
Processor
Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. It’s paired with up to 12GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which means apps load quickly and multitasking is smooth. Realme also adds its own AI chip that helps push frame rates in games like BGMI and Genshin Impact. Performance is decent for the price, and the phone stays cool thanks to its vapor chamber cooling system.
Camera
The rear setup includes a 50MP Sony sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Photos in daylight are sharp and well-balanced, though the ultrawide camera is just average. Video recording goes up to 4K at 60fps. On the front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera that captures detailed shots with minimal processing. It’s not a camera phone in the flagship sense, but it’s more than capable for everyday use and social media.
Verdict
The Realme P4 Pro 5G offers a strong mix of display quality, battery life, and gaming performance at a competitive price. It’s not trying to be flagship—it’s just well-built and practical. For users who want a reliable phone with a few premium touches, this one’s worth a look.
