Realme GT 6T Sale 2024: Realme GT 6T nano mirror design, available in two finishes.

Realme GT 6T, Realme’s first GT phone in two years, is here and after testing it, we have only good things to say about it. Be sure to check out our full Realme GT 6T review to get all the deets—pros, cons, what have you—on whether (or not) this new GT phone is for you. Right out of the gate, this is a performance-driven phone and so, it’s packing the goods accordingly. The chip, the cooling, even the display is made for multimedia consumption, whether it be gaming or content streaming.

Despite being such a spec-heavy phone, the Realme GT 6T doesn’t cost a bomb, as you might expect. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs only Rs 30,999. The top-of-the-line 12GB/512GB variant will set you back by Rs 39,999. It’s a lot of phone for a lot less money and we expect it to fly off the shelves especially with the bevy of bundled offers that Realme is offering. But we’ll see about that. The Realme GT 6T is soon to get tough competition from the Poco F6, its ticket to fame being the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. We’ll have that comparison ready as soon as Poco announces the phone so stay tuned.

But for now, here’s a quick rundown on the Realme GT 6T’s top specs, features, and more:

  1. Design: The back of the phone is made of glass with a mix of glossy and matte bits that give it a very distinct character. Like it or not, you can’t ignore this phone, that’s for certain. It’s built well, too, with great attention to detail, though there is no IP rating to speak of. It comes in a choice of green and silver. It weighs 191g and measures 8.65mm, so fairly slim and light.
  2. Display: The Realme GT 6T’s screen can get very, very bright. The phone uses an 8T LTPO AMOLED panel (1-120Hz) which has a local peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The screen is tall—6.78-inch—has a resolution 1.5K, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The bezels are slim and symmetrical. Dolby Vision playback is supported. Biometrics are handled by an in-screen fingerprint reader.
  3. Processor: Powering the Realme GT 6T is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chip.
  4. Memory: The Realme GT 6T comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations. RAM is of the LPDDR5x type (which is default across the whole lineup). Storage is UFS4.0 (the 8GB/128GB model uses slower UFS3.1).
  5. Software: The phone runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. Realme is committing to three years of major OS and four years of security updates.
  6. Camera: The phone has a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor paired to an f/1.88 optically stabilised lens. It can shoot 4K@60fps videos. It is joined by another 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide (without autofocus). The front camera is a 32-megapixel (Sony IMX615).
  7. Speakers: The Realme GT 6T has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos playback support.
  8. Connectivity: The phone supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. It also has an IR blaster.
  9. Battery, charging: The Realme GT 6T has a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging baked in.
  10. India price: The Realme GT 6T comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB for Rs 30,999, Rs 32,999, Rs 35,999 and Rs 39,999 respectively.
