Xiaomi spin-off Poco has silently unveiled an all-new entry-level smartphone called the Poco C65. It appears to be a follow-up to the Poco C55 which was launched earlier in the year. Listed on Poco’s global website, the Poco C65 brings a good mix of upgrades over its predecessor including a faster display and USB Type-C charging. Poco C65 price is yet to be revealed. The Poco C55 for reference cost Rs 9,499 at launch.
Poco C65 full specs, features
The Poco C65 has a 6.74-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch. The panel can refresh at up to 90Hz per second and is protected by an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass. It can top 600nits, Poco mentions.
Under the hood, the Poco C65 has the MediaTek Helio G85, same as the Poco C55 though you get more RAM and storage: up to 8GB and 256GB. Running the show is MIUI 14 for Poco, presumably based on Android 13.
For photography, the Poco C65 has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50-megapixel main camera and another 2-megapixel shooter for macros. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Powering the Poco C65 is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast USB Type-C charging baked-in. As per the official listing, Poco will supply a 10W charger in the box.
The C55’s leather-like stitch design is gone completely in this generation making way for a relatively more sober flat polycarbonate body to be available in a choice of black, blue, and purple. Biometrics are handled by a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Rounding off the package are NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and micro-SD card storage expansion.
Poco is yet to announce pricing as well as availability details of the Poco C65. Going by history, the Poco C65 should eventually arrive in India at a price tag of roughly ~10,000. Stay tuned for more updates.
