Oppo has launched the F25 Pro in India. Essentially, it’s a watered-down Reno 11 and while the Reno may have a telephoto to redeem itself, the F25 Pro doesn’t have that luxury. Understandable at its lower price point but then when you factor in the competition, this new Oppo phone finds itself in a tight spot. There is simply no getting around the fact that some of the rival phones offer better value. At the top of the list is the Poco X6 of course, a phone that packs unbelievable specs at unbelievable prices. If you can stretch a bit further, the Poco X6 Pro gets you even more bang for the buck. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G is another phone you can call a go-to choice for many buyers. While the iQOO Z7 Pro and Moto Edge 40 Neo gets you premium design with flaunt-worthy specs.

Here are 5 Oppo F25 Pro alternatives that offer better value at around similar prices:

  1. Poco X6: The biggest threat to the Oppo F25 Pro is Poco’s X6. The Poco X6 comes in a choice of 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB memory trims at a price of Rs 21,999, Rs 23,999 and Rs 24,999, respectively. At a relatively lower price, you get a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, and a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging. You get a trio of sensors on the back of this phone with a 64-megapixel main sensor behind an optically stabilised lens in addition to an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. The only niggle is that it runs the older MIUI 14 with Android 13.
  2. Poco X6 Pro: The Poco X6 Pro comes in a choice of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB at a price of Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively. So clearly, you’ll have to stretch your budget a little for it, but if you do, you’ll get a bunch of high-end specs including a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback, a super fast Mediatek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS4.0, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The camera setup is same as the Poco X6’s.
  3. OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G: The OnePlus Nord CE 3 which was launched at a starting price of Rs 26,999 for a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, now sells for as low as Rs 24,999. The 12GB/256GB OnePlus Nord CE 3 price in India comes in at Rs 27,999 (down Rs 1,000 from its original launch price of Rs 28,999). For the price, you get a 6.7-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G processor, triple camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX890 sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
  4. iQOO Z7 Pro: The iQOO Z7 Pro brings an attractive glass back design and high-end specs including a 120Hz AMOLED display, 64-megapixel optically stabilised camera and 66W fast charging at a starting price of Rs 23,999 (8GB/128GB). A version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 24,999.
  5. Motorola Edge 40 Neo: The Moto Edge 40 Neo currently sells for Rs 22,999 (8GB/128GB) and Rs 24,999 (12GB/256GB). For the price, you get a slim and light IP68-rated design, a 6.55-inch OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, 50MP dual camera setup, a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging, and stereo speakers. The only niggle is that it launched with Android 13 and is eligible for only two major OS and three years of security updates.
