Oppo has launched the Find X8 series marking its first foray into India’s premium smartphone space, challenging Samsung and Apple with the 1 Lakh Rupees Find X8 Pro—its priciest phone in the country to date. The Find X8 Pro is joined by the relatively less expensive—but still pricy—Find X8. Boasting of flagship MediaTek chips and high-resolution cameras, the Find X8 series represents the latest and greatest from Oppo at the time of writing.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED “Infinite View” display with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, while the Find X8 features a slightly smaller 6.59-inch display with the same refresh rate. Both models are protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring durability against dust and water.

In terms of cameras, the Find X8 Pro takes the lead with a quad-camera setup, including a 50MP Sony LYT808 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and two telephoto options—3X optical zoom and 6X periscope zoom—both with OIS. The Find X8 features a triple-camera array with a 50MP Sony LYT700 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 3X telephoto lens with OIS. Both devices include a 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera and Oppo’s advanced AI features for enhanced photography and video capabilities.

Performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Oppo’s RAM expansion technology adds up to 12GB of virtual RAM for extra flexibility. The Find X8 Pro houses a 5910mAh silicon carbon battery with 80W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, while the Find X8 packs a slightly smaller 5630mAh battery with the same charging support.

Running on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, the Find X8 series promises long-term support with up to five years of OS updates. Available in multiple colors, the series is priced starting at Rs 69,999 for the Find X8 (12GB/256GB) and Rs 99,999 for the Find X8 Pro (16GB/512GB). Sales begin December 3 on Oppo’s e-store, Flipkart, and retail outlets.
