OnePlus users have been facing a lot of issues while sharing their files with iPhone users. The issue of facing technical glitches while sharing data from Android to iOS has been existing for a long time. So, to remove this issue a new feature has been added in the latest operating systems (OS) of OnePlus.
Notably the feature is named ‘Share with iPhone,’ aimed at helping android users to share files with iOS users. Here’s a detailed look at what’s in store for you.

The ‘share with iPhone’ feature will simplify sharing files on different operating systems (OS). The feature is available directly in the OxygenOS15, OnePlus’ latest operating system. The new feature comes after OnePlus users complained of facing issues as soon as they updated their phone to OxygenOS 15. The users claimed that they were not able to share files. Furthermore, starting October 20, the OxygenOS 15 will first be released to the OnePlus 12. Also, at first the feature will be available in beta version.
The new feature does not require any other third-party app and is directly integrated in the operating system. This will help you to easily share files. The new feature aims to bring a similar working structure just like the SHAREit app, a third-party data sharing app. You just need to select a file and then click on the sharing option to share a file from your OnePlus to any iPhone models.
‘Share with iPhone’: How to use
Once downloaded, the ‘Share with iPhone’ requires multiple permissions to operate correctly.Additionally, the feature needs to remain open for the file-sharing process to function. After the whole setup is completed, the OnePlus user selects the file they want to share.
So, how can you share your files/documents with iOS devices from your Android device? Given below are the steps by which you can share your files:
- First you need to select the photo or video you want to share. Now you need to open the share menu.
- After opening the ‘share’ menu you will find the ‘Share with iPhone’ option.
- This feature now opens a Wi-Fi hotspot from the OnePlus device. The iPhone user then joins this temporary hotspot.
- Now you are all set to transfer your files using the temporary hotspot.
Please note that for the working of the network, iPhone owners first need to download the “O+ Connect” app from the Apple Store.
