OnePlus 15 is coming to India on November 13.

The OnePlus 15 is already up for sale in China as one of the world’s first few smartphones to be powered by the incredibly powerful and capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The phone is more than just its chipset, offering beefy specifications and features that help it rival the equivalent iPhone 17 series. The phone is now confirmed to come to India on November 13, thus offering a next-gen Android experience for users.

When it launches in India, the OnePlus 15 is expected to replace the outgoing OnePlus 13 as the brand’s flagship offering for the country. One of the major changes when compared to the last generation model is the discontinuation of the partnership with Hasselblad – while this may ring alarm bells for OnePlus purists, the company is promising a nicer camera experience with advanced hardware features.

OnePlus 15 specifications at a glance

The OnePlus 15 will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, ensuring high-end performance for demanding applications and multitasking. Furthermore, to cater specifically to the gaming community, the smartphone is expected to feature a dedicated G2 gaming network chip. This chip is supposed to stabilise frame rates and significantly reduce lag during intensive gaming sessions.

Another major change is the design of the phone. The OnePlus 15 takes inspiration from the OnePlus 13s’ design, bringing a squarish camera hump and boxy aesthetics. The OnePlus 15 will be available for purchase through both Amazon India and the official OnePlus online store, with colour options including Black, Purple, and Sand Dune.

Then there are the basics:

Display: It features a large 6.78-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, promising a fluid and highly responsive visual experience.

Camera: The smartphone is confirmed to include a 50MP triple-camera setup, maintaining OnePlus’s focus on high-quality mobile photography.

Battery and charging: Powering the device is a massive 7,300mAh battery, which is complemented by rapid charging capabilities. This includes 120W Super Flash wired charging and 50W wireless Flash Charge support.

Software: The OnePlus 15 will run on OxygenOS 16, which is based on the latest Android 16 operating system.

OnePlus 15 expected India price

The OnePlus 15 starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 50,000) for the base model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A top-tier configuration with 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of storage retails for CNY 5,399 (roughly Rs 67,000). While these prices position the OnePlus 15 competitively in the flagship segment of the Chinese market, the brand could command a premium in India.

Thanks to the import duties, taxes, and localised pricing strategies, you can expect the OnePlus 15 to be positioned in the high-end bracket, with an expected price tag ranging between Rs 65,000 and Rs 75,000 in India.
