OnePlus wants to have a go at the compact premium flagship phone category and it has created the OnePlus 13s for the task. Set to launch on June 5 in India, the OnePlus 13s will be the brand’s first attempt at making a compact yet unconstrained flagship device. The teasers have already revealed how the phone is going to look and the rest of the specifications listed on the website give us a fair idea of what to expect. OnePlus is still keeping most of the crucial details behind the carpet.
The OnePlus 13s, when launched, will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy S25, Apple iPhone 16 and the Xiaomi 15.

The OnePlus 13s will be launched on June 5 via an online event which will be livestream les via its YouTube channel. The event is likely to reveal all the storage variants as well as prices.

So far, OnePlus has only revealed the following information about the OnePlus 13s:
The OnePlus 13s will be all about compact dimensions and hence, will rely on a smaller display. The display will measure 6.3-inches and is likely to use a cutting edge OLED display with high peak brightness levels.
Since it will be from the flagship series, the OnePlus 13s will rely on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset – the fastest chipset that you can find on any Android phone today. Hence, you can expect top tier performance from this phone deapite a reduction in the overall dimensions. The 8 Elite chip is capable of AAA quality gaming and professional levels of video editing.
In a similar fashion to the iPhone 16, OnePlus is also ditching its iconic Alert Slider key in favour of a new Plus key. The Plus key will be a programmable button that can be used to map shortcuts as well as change the audio profiles.
OnePlus 13s will also feature a 32MP autofocus front camera. This will allow natural bokeh effects in portrait mode selfies
OnePlus also confirms an all day battery life along with 5.5G wireleas connection. Sadly, the exact details on these areas haven’t been shared yet.
OnePlus 13s expected India price
Based on the early rumours, the OnePlus 13s will have a more accessible price tag than the OnePlus 13 owing to its conpact footprint. Hence, you can expect the prices to start from Rs 60,000, thus competing directly with the iPhone 16 and the Samsung Galaxy S25.
