OnePlus has officially announced that its highly anticipated OnePlus 13 will make its global debut in January 2025, likely beating the Samsung Galaxy S25 series to the market. An India launch should be expected around the same time. The exact date of launch will be revealed in the coming weeks, OnePlus said in a statement shared with the media today.
The OnePlus 13 will be available in three colours, much like how things are in China. These are Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn. A standout feature of the Midnight Ocean variant is its micro-fibre vegan leather finish, a first for OnePlus. It will also become the first OnePlus phone to secure both IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust, water, and even high-pressure water jets.

Hardware specs should be same as the China model. In which case, we can expect a 6.82-inch 2K (1440p) BOE LTPO AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak HDR brightness supporting Dolby Vision.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, in China although the global variant should be running OxygenOS 15.
For photography, the OnePlus 13 boasts a triple-camera setup: a 50MP LYT-808 main sensor with an f/1.6 optically stabilised lens, another 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3x telephoto camera with OIS. The front camera is a 32MP shooter.
Powering the device is a massive 6,000mAh battery, capable of 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Security is handled by an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus 13 in China is available in several configurations: 12GB/256GB (CNY 4,499), 12GB/512GB (CNY 4,899), 16GB/512GB (CNY 5,299), and 24GB/1TB (CNY 5,999). Watch this space for more updates.
