The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and Apple iPhone Air kickstarted a trend of slim new phones and it was only a matter of time before its rivals followed. Motorola, for 2026, has come up with a new midrange phone that promises to deliver a premium smartphone experience without charging a premium from the customers. It is called the Motorola Edge 70 and is positioned in India as a premium mid-range contender, consisting a strong Qualcomm mid-range processor and a massive battery.
The Motorola Edge 70 is the first device in the next-gen Edge 70 series, aiming to take the game to premium offerings from brands like Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, and Nothing. On paper, the specifications sheet shows a promising proposition but the pricing is where the Edge 70 seems competitive with offerings from iQOO, Poco and Nothing.
