With the rising demand for artificial intelligence (AI), organizations are making constant efforts to bring AI available to all. In this path Microsoft is also a prominent name. To make its contribution stand out, it will soon allow users to create AI agents. Yes, you heard it right! From next month the tech giant will allow you to build autonomous AI agents.
On October 22, in an official blog it highlighted that the upcoming ability to create AI agents will help users to easily manage , create and connect agents to Copilot. Notably, Microsoft Copilot is a generative artificial intelligence chatbot developed by Microsoft. In addition to this, it will also bring you other benefits. Here’s a look at the new Agentic capabilities.
Microsoft lets you create AI agent
As per the blog, Microsoft will bring the ability to create autonomous agents with Copilot Studio. This will be in public preview from November. So, how do these agents work? The AI agents can be the apps for an AI-powered world, said Microsoft. Microsoft Copilot will help organizations to interact with this AI agent. These AI agents will then help in automating any of your daily tasks. Every organization will have a group of agents. This includes simple prompt-and-response and also fully autonomous AI agents.
For example you are into sales and you need to generate leads and get sales. It can’t be possible to work up all day-night. So, you can use the AI agents. The AI agents can help you in generating leads and processing of sales. All is done automatically, without any human intervention. Sounds great right! Now you don’t need to stay awake all night tracking down potential customers.
The AI agents also have the ability to find the most potential customers for you. You don’t need to check a long list of sales organizations to find the best suited for your company. The AI agent will sort it out for you, finding the best one that can meet your needs.
What’s in for you
In addition to the above mentioned feature Microsoft will also introduce ten new autonomous agents in Dynamics 365. This will help to enhance the working capacity of every service, sales, finance and supply chain team.
To showcase the capabilities of these upcoming AI agents, McKinsey & Co created an agent that could manage client inquiries. Please note that McKinsey & Co got early access to the tools. In the demo, the AI agents were able to check interaction history, identify the consultant for the task and then schedule a follow-up meeting.
Furthermore, “The idea is that Copilot (the company’s chatbot) is the user interface for AI,” Charles Lamanna, corporate vice president of business and industry Copilot at Microsoft, explained to Reuters.
