Microsoft recently concluded its September event with a flurry of exciting announcements. This event wasn’t just about showcasing new Surface devices; it was also a platform for Microsoft to unveil AI features that will enhance user’s experience and possibly change the way we have been using Windows.

Surface Laptop Studio 2
It is touted as the “most powerful” Surface device ever created. It packs an Intel 13th Gen i7 H processor, Nvidia’s RTX 4050 or 4060 GPU, paired up with 64GB of RAM, quite a powerhouse we say. Additionally, Microsoft has also introduced an adaptive touchpad, touted as its “most inclusive” innovation yet. Surface Laptop Studio 2 starts at $1,999 with pre-orders already live, and availability starting Oct 3.
Surface Laptop Go 3
Next in the lineup is the Surface Laptop Go 3. It is said to be “88 per cent faster” than its predecessor. It sports a 12.4-inch touchscreen paired with a fingerprint power button. Surface Laptop Go 3 starts at $799 and will be available starting Oct. 3.

Surface Go 4
Notably, the Surface Go 4 was quietly launched for businesses, featuring an upgraded four-core Intel N200 chip and starting at $579.
Cortana’s goodbye makes room for Copilot, and some AI update
One of the most intriguing developments is the integration of Copilot across Microsoft’s ecosystem, providing seamless assistance across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Edge. Moreover, Bing Chat—Microsoft’s AI chatbot—is getting a substantial upgrade with DALL-E 3 integration and Personalized Answers.
Last but not least, Windows 11 is set to receive an update on Sept 26 that will bring AI-powered Windows Copilot, a revamped File Explorer, and native support for RAR and 7-zip archives.
