Reliance Jio is ringing into the New Year 2025 with a bombshell offer for budget-conscious data lovers. The telecom giant has launched an “ultimate 5G upgrade voucher” that gives you a whole year of unlimited 5G data for just Rs 601.

This deal is specifically designed for users on the Rs 299 prepaid plan, which generally offers 1.5GB of daily data. But here’s the kicker: even if you’re not on a 5G plan, this voucher unlocks unlimited 5G access at an incredibly affordable price.

How to grab this deal

Jio is promoting the Rs 601 voucher as a “gift” for seamless connectivity on its MyJio app and website. Simply head to the app or website to purchase and activate the voucher. You can purchase it for friends and family, too. However, keep in mind that this offer is exclusive to users on the Rs 299 plan or higher.

This move comes after Jio’s tariff hike in July 2024, which made it more expensive to access unlimited 5G. Previously, users could enjoy Jio’s Welcome Offer with any plan priced at Rs 239 or higher. But after the hike, unlimited 5G was restricted to plans with at least 2GB of daily data, like the Rs 349 plan.

More options for 5G upgrades

Jio has also introduced a range of booster packs to help users on non-5G plans access unlimited 5G. These packs, priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151, offer extra 4G data along with unlimited 5G access. For example, the Rs 51 plan provides 3GB of 4G data, the Rs 101 plan includes 6GB, and the Rs 151 plan offers 9GB.

With the Rs 601 voucher and unlimited 5G, Jio is making 5G more accessible and affordable than ever.  Whether you’re a heavy data user or just want to experience the speed of 5G without breaking the bank, Jio has a plan for you.
